Question

Suzanne recently got a Betta fish as noted in the previous post, but we are struggling with names. Of course, we are obsessed with the TV show "Friends", so all of the names involve something related to Friends and therefore might not make sense. It is a male Betta, so they are all boy names. Phoebo(pronounced fee-bo) is a suggestion Phoebe gives as a baby name, Richard was Monica's boyfriend, "Science Boy" was the comic created by Ross, Joey is one of the main characters, and Chanandler Bong is the name that is on the address label of a magazine that Chandler gets where they misspell his name. Now you have the info, go forth and vote.

Also, Happy Birthday to Suzanne! She is 23 today! Happy Birthday Honey!

Update!!!!

So we have a lot of updating to do! We have been busy, busy bee's with no time to update everyone on our adventures. A few of the highlights are below!

So this week is my birthday and I have a sweet heart of a husband! For months... if not almost a year... I have talked about getting a Betta. I have had several growing up and even though they are a lot of work, I still missed having one around. Well we decided to get two mini schnauzers instead last year but that never stopped me from looking at the Betta's as we take our monthly (more like weekly) trip to Petco.

So I was at my sisters tonight working up a flower quote and when I came home, to my surprise was this! A beautiful bouquet of flowers and a bowl full of water! In the bowl is a beautiful red Betta! My hubby decided to surprise me with my b-day present early! I was (am) so shocked and so excited. Now we need a name for this little guy! Any suggestions are welcome.

BTW... the dogs think they have a new water dish right beside mom and dad's bed.

A couple weekends ago was the 4th of July! (As I am sure you are all aware.) One of my favorite holidays! Since Becca and I are testing our skill in cake decorating, we decided to make the following cake for 4th of July. It took 5 hard days of work but I think it turned out AMAZING (not to tout our own horns)!

We found this special pan so we could not only have the outside of the cake festive, but also the inside! It was so fun to make and suprisingly easy!

This is only the begining of the cakes to come!

A few weeks back we were able to get a bunch of seats to a Bee's game and invited a bunch of friends. This was an interesting game as the forcast said it would rain. Well rain is exactly what it did.

The game begins, and in the middle of the first inning we start to see these dark clouds head our way. They were some of the most intense clouds I have ever seen! It looked like a title wave in the sky!

So it soon began to rain and they had to tarp the field. I have never seen a tarp so big! I wonder how they sewed it together... one big machine!

While it was raining they made everyone go up to the consession stands for cover. The lightening was also a factor as well. After the rain started to decrease, we were blessed with the sight of a BEAUTIFUL rainbow. This was a full rainbow and I could not get a full picture of it as it was so big. As you can kind of see in this picture, not only was it a full rainbow, but it started to turn into a DOUBLE rainbow as well. I have to say, it was an amazing sight to see!

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this year, but there have been some of the most amazing clouds this year! Not only did we get to see a beautiful rainbow, the clouds that followed the storm were awesome! I cannot emagin what heaven will be like if these are the kind of things we get to see on Earth!

Man could not create something so beautiful!

You show me paint this pretty and I will paint a room in my house that color! Seriously, how much prettier could it get?!
